Indian Culture, which is one with the oldest & richest cultures, is now under serious danger as western culture is generating its strong base in India and little by little wiping out the Indian tradition. It had already made the presence in Metro’s & now slowly heading towards other regions of India.Westernization has significantly affected our traditions, customs, us and our respect and enjoy for others. The concept involving joint families is fading quick, and everyone wants to continue being aloof. Now nobody is interested in other’s affairs in support of cares for himself which is completely contradictory to our Indian culture that teaches us to be a part and parcel of your society, sharing each other’s Wonder and sorrows. All our rich values and traditions are little by little dying down, Western Culture can be taking its place. People are blindly following it without knowing the consequences.
Westernization has given rise to be able to single families. Marriages are splitting & our tolerance and endurance has exhausted. The most impacted are our new blooms, which have yet to sprout. They end up stressed and isolated in this particular new atmosphere, since there is no one to take care of them. They no more get the care and love of the Grandparents. They find themselves in crutches to get taken care by others. It is rather unfortunate that the new sprouts remain untouched and stop from our great moral values and sanskaaras. In today’s Scenario both husband & wife are working. There is no one at home to tend them and to cultivate the sanskaaras included since our elders who use to offer these sanskaaras to their grand children are don't with them. In many cases it is not deliberate but in majority of cases they prefer to remain away using their parents which is very ill-fated.
There’s no harm in taking good things from the west, but this doesn't mean that we should become slave thus to their culture, and misrepresent our identity. It is understandable that India can be a growing country, so it is essential of knowing all the countries and their traditions. To a point it is fine, but it truly is wrong to pretend and act like Westerners and discard our very own culture. We have to preserve our identity.
It is shocking to find out that Indians are forgetting the culture. On the contrary
westerners want towards Indian spirituality for dealing with their personal, social and country wide problems. They are coming to India to locate peace through Yoga and Deep breathing. India has earned a good name in the field of Yoga and Meditation abroad. Our gurus are giving teachings to westerners tips on how to relax & how to keep themselves fit and far from diseases.
It is very unfortunate that today’s generation has little or no knowledge about their culture, cultures and roots. This is not their fault but the fault of their parents who don't enlighten them about their origins, rich cultural and heritage. Contradictory into it, Parents feel proud in giving their children western ENCULTRATION, and perhaps they are brought up in western atmosphere. Thus, they are kept miles far from Indian culture.

Our nation always feel proud that most of us, the Indians have such a rich cultural heritage which can be very rare and should be carried forward and cultivated inside the minds of our New blooms who are going to be our future.
